What are clear aligners
Clear aligners are designed to address alignment concerns including crowding, spacing, and bite positioning. Each aligner is custom-made and worn over your teeth, gently shifting them over time according to a treatment plan developed by your dentist.
Â
Unlike fixed braces, the aligners are removable. You take them out to eat and to clean your teeth, then put them back in. Most people around you won't notice you're wearing them.
Â
We use Invisalign, a top leading brand and is a clinically established clear aligner system used by dentists across Australia. Dr. Aldrin Bautista has extensive experience providing Invisalign at Dentist @ Westleigh.
Clear aligners treatment follows a structured process. Here's what to expect from start to finish
Dr. Aldrin will start with initial consultation that involves digital scanning, phots and xray of the teeth. Dr. Aldrin assesses your teeth, bite, and suitability for clear aligners. This is also when you can ask questions and discuss what you'd like to address.
Step 1:
Consultation
Once treatment is complete, retainers help maintain the new positioning of your teeth. Dr. Aldrin will advise on what's right for your case.
Step 5:
Retainers
You'll visit us at intervals throughout treatment so Dr. Aldrin can check your progress and hand over your next sets of aligners.
Step 4:
Progress check-ins
You receive your first set of aligners and wear each set for approximately one to two weeks, as directed. Aligners should be worn for the recommended number of hours per day to stay on track.
Step 3:
Wearing your aligners
Using digital imaging, a series of custom aligners is designed to move your teeth in planned increments. You'll be able to see a digital representation of the treatment plan before you commit.
Step 2:

How it works
Who clear aligners may be suitable for
Clear Aligners can address a range of alignment concerns including mild to moderate crowding, spacing, and certain bite issues. Whether it's right for you depends on your individual dental situation.
Â
Not everyone is a candidate for clear aligner treatment, and some cases are better addressed through other options. A consult is the right place to find out where you stand. Dr. Aldrin will assess your suitability at your consultation.
Â
If you've been wondering whether clear Aligners could work for you, the straight forward next step is to book a time to come in.
Investment
Clear aligner investment varies depending on the complexity and duration of your treatment.
